The Annapurna Circuit and Base Camp Trek is Nepal’s most mythical trekking experience with its breathtaking scenery, cultural diversity, and unparalleled high-altitude trekking. The trek combines the best of the Annapurna Circuit Trek and the Annapurna Base Camp Trek into one adventure that offers breathtaking Himalayan views, diverse landscapes, and rural mountain villages.

Trekkers on the Annapurna Circuit and Base Camp Trek will experience green forests, deep gorges, and high passes. The Annapurna Circuit traverses scenic villages such as Manang, Muktinath, and Jomsom, where the Tibetan-style culture and stunning scenery of the Annapurna Himalayas make the trekking worthwhile. One of the most exciting experiences of the trek is crossing the famous Thorong La Pass (5,416 m), which provides trekkers with stunning views of the white-tipped peaks that surround it.

After completing the circuit, the hike continues to the breathtaking Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), also known as Annapurna Sanctuary. Along this part of the trek, you are rewarded with scenic villages like Chhomrong, Bamboo, and Deurali, where trekkers are exposed to the unique Gurung and Magar cultures. At Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m), trekkers are surrounded by giant mountains, including Annapurna I (8,091m), Machhapuchhre (6,993m), Hiunchuli (6,441m), and Annapurna South (7,219m). The breathtaking drama of the Annapurna Himalayas is one never to be forgotten, and this is one of Nepal’s most sought-after treks.

The Annapurna Circuit and Base Camp Trek is an experience that is a blend of challenging climbs, steep declines, and a rich cultural landscape. The trek is best attempted in the spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November), when the weather is clear, and the trails are at their finest. Trekkers will require the TIMS (Trekkers’ Information Management System) card and the Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) to gain access to the region.

Perfect for people who would enjoy experiencing high-altitude trekking and witnessing the scenic majesty of the Annapurna Base Camp, the changing landscape, from alpine meadows to subtropical valleys, makes every step during the trekking experience different. The difficulties of high pass crossing, the thrill of standing at an 8,000-meter giant’s foot, and the hospitality of the locals make the Annapurna Circuit and Base Camp Trek an experience of a lifetime.

For trekkers looking for a special experience, the Annapurna Circuit and Base Camp Trek is an adventure of a lifetime amidst Nepal’s most dramatic mountain scenery. If you’re an experienced trekker or adventure traveler looking for a challenge, this trek will be remembered for a lifetime.
